  • Champion Lodgepole Pine Trail (.6 mi round-trip - Easy)
    South side of Big Bear Lake, streamside; ends at Champion Lodgepole Pine, one of the largest in California.
  • The Woodland Trail (1.5 mile loop - Easy)
    Nature trail with 20 post stops - self-guided tour about botany, geology, and dry woodlands; parking available with Adventure Pass.
  • The Grandview Loop Bike Trail (9 mi - Low Intermediate)
    Starting at Snow Summit Scenic Sky Chair, 3 miles of rolling ride to Grandview Point, returns to Snow Summit.
  • Grout Bay Bike Trail (13 mi - Intermediate)
    From Hanna Flat campground, trail climbs and descends to end at Fawnskin.
  • John Bull Loop Bike Trail (14.9 mi - Intermediate)
    From Van Dusen Canyon, 3.4 mi climbs to Holcomb Valley before steepening to ruts and sand looping back to the beginning.
  • Cougar Crest Trail (4-5.5 mi - Moderate/Difficult)
    Starts at HWY 38, subtle inclining path ends at the juncture of the Pacific Crest Trail.
